Saponin is a small layer that covers the grain, and is responsible for giving it a bitter taste.
The quinoa scarifier has a capacity of approximately 450 kg/h but can vary depending on the quinoa variety.
In addition, this machine has a three-phase main motor, a three-phase suction motor and a control unit with on-off control, which indicates operation and process by means of light signaling.
The material with which the
quinoa scarifier has been constructed is stainless steel AISI 304 in those parts where the equipment is in contact with the product and carbon steel in the structure.
The machine is also equipped with a pyramid-type feed hopper with a constant meter and viewfinder and a scarifying chamber formed by a bar with vanes and sieve, with a rotation and friction system.
The suction system sucks the saponin by means of rotor and the transit hose with coupling to the lower duct directs the dust to the cyclone. Finally, the discharge of the reamed product is carried out by frontal duct with insurance, the transmission of the force is carried out by means of pulley and belt, mechanism that is protected by a safety system.
